CoWare Names Willamette HDL as Primary Training Partner
SANTA CLARA, Calif., June 4 /PRNewswire/ -- CoWare(TM), Inc., the leading
provider of system-level design tools, today chose Willamette HDL, Inc., a
leading language-based design consulting and training firm, as its primary
training partner for SystemC, the system-level design language.
This
announcement coincides with the launch of its SystemC-based CoWare N2C(TM)
design system. Under terms of the one-year agreement, Willamette HDL, of Beaverton, Ore.,
will provide customized SystemC training, which includes classroom instruction
and course materials for designers using CoWare N2C.
Courses, offered through
CoWare's continuing education department or directly from WHDL, can be
scheduled immediately. During the training class, students will have the opportunity to use
accurateC(TM) Rule Checker, a SystemC language checker introduced by WHDL
earlier this year.
accurateC performs a series of checks that adhere to
established language rule sets and allows the creation of customized rule sets
to meet specific design requirements. ``Selecting Willamette HDL to train CoWare N2C customers to use SystemC was
an easy choice for us,'' says Mikael Hakansson, Director of Customer
Applications at CoWare.
``WHDL has taught more SystemC courses worldwide over
the last year than any other training company.'' ``CoWare is a driving force behind the adoption of SystemC,'' notes
Mike Baird, president of Willamette HDL.
``We are pleased to be working with
them to advance SystemC by training both systems engineers and electronics
engineers who are ready to master system-level design.'' About Willamette HDL Founded in 1993, Willamette HDL, Inc. delivers training, consulting
services and software products that help language-based hardware design
